We are planning an impactful experience, building on the success of past FOEN events hosted by the Western Academy of Beijing (WAB). FOEN26 isn't a typical conference; it's a global summit for educators who are serious about challenging norms and building the future of learning.

We believe technology, when guided by purpose, can be one of humanity's greatest forces for good. FOEN26 is where ideas transform into impact.

Your experience includes a diverse program featuring global voices and hands-on workshops in four unique strands: 

• Constraint Encourages Creativity: When resources, time, or structures are limited, creativity often flourishes. This strand explores how purposeful constraints can spark new ideas, fuel adaptive thinking, and lead to innovative breakthroughs in teaching and learning.
• Innovation Expands Opportunities: Technology and imagination are reshaping what’s possible for learners. This strand explores how educators are integrating AI, immersive tools, gaming, and creative media to expand access, develop essential skills, and prepare students for the future of work and life.
• Empathy Creates Solutions: Meaningful change begins with understanding. This strand highlights how schools design for ethical, sustainable, and human-centered impact, helping students transform compassion into purposeful action through service, sustainability, and global connection.
• Wellness Unlocks Potential: A culture of well-being empowers learning at every level. This strand explores how intentional practices, such as social-emotional learning, intrinsic motivation, and belonging, help every learner thrive and reach their full potential.

We champion empowering students with voice, choice, and real-world connection to unlock their natural desire to improve the world around them.
