ACS seeks to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all students, faculty and staff, parents and visitors.
To maximize student learning, we rely on the entire community to follow traffic and parking rules, whether your child walks, bikes, scoots, rides in a car or a bus.
Drop-off & Pick-up
A number of our students walk, bike or scoot to school. We have a designated parking area for bikes and scooters within the campus gates. Students walking and riding are encouraged to use the crosswalks and should be vigilant while traveling around campus.
Students can be dropped off by car and enter campus through their designated gates. If your child is in Elementary School, an internal numbering program alerts us when your car has arrived at ACS for pickup.
Carpools
Some families supplement school transportation with carpools. These are arranged independently between families based on their interests, neighborhood and needs.
Bus Service
Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, ACS's official student transportation is Imperial Transport. A well-established Abu Dhabi area transportation provider for more than 20 years, they offer safety features including GPS monitoring, electronic attendance systems, seat belts, central operations control, a representative for ACS families and professionally trained drivers.
