The American Community School of Abu Dhabi has released its 2023 Annual Report, a landmark publication commemorating the school’s 50th anniversary and celebrating five decades of educational excellence.
The report arrives at a pivotal moment in ACS history, as the community reflects on its legacy while preparing for a transformative move to the new Saadiyat Island campus.

The publication highlights a full year of anniversary celebrations that brought together students, families, faculty, alumni, and partners.
These events provided opportunities to honor the school’s journey, highlight its growth, and recognize the people who have shaped ACS over the past half-century.

A major section of the report showcases record-breaking philanthropic achievements. Contributions to the ACS Excellence Fund, the second annual ACS Giving Day, and the 50th Anniversary Golden Gala set new heights for community participation and impact, with a sold out event for more than 550 guests raising AED1.3 million for the school.

The Annual Report also details the importance of charitable gifts from families, faculty and staff, alumni, and institutional partners in advancing ACS’s programs, strengthening learning spaces, and investing in people. These contributions are driving transformative change that positions the school for its next era.

Throughout the report, ACS underscores the essential role of its engaged community. The work of PTA and Viper Club volunteers, the leadership of the Board of Trustees, and the widespread support of the ACS Excellence Fund have all contributed to the school’s achievements during this milestone year.
