Rolling Out the Red Carpet for Student Filmmakers
A celebration of the work of the students from the 2021-2022 Intro to Film, Advanced Film and IB Film courses, this year’s annual UAE Student Film Festival was held in a state-of-the-art theater at Cinema City, Al Qana.
With the arts being one of its pillars, ACS believes in empowering students to go beyond academic achievement and offer programs and activities that extend students’ curiosity and growth past the classroom. The school’s visual arts program provides students the opportunity to develop as both interpreters and makers of film. An immersive experience, students not only acquire the necessary knowledge and skills but also translate that into creative productions that are powerful and stimulating.
ACS students, families and faculty walked the red carpet in support of the filmmakers. Congratulations goes to all the winners, as well as a special congratulations to Mia Liang who won Best in Show for the festival.
